Connie Aldao, an Argentine-born chef, made her mark in New Zealand after becoming a citizen in 2008. She honed her culinary skills under the guidance of renowned chef Francis Mallmann. Connie’s international recognition came when the 1884 Restaurant in Mendoza (Argentina) secured seventh place in The World’s 50 Best Restaurants list.

On Waiheke Island, she became the Head Chef at Stonyridge Vineyard, known for its flavors influenced by Argentina’s Mediterranean heritage. Later, she led the opening of Madame Fu Grand Cafe Chinois in Hong Kong.

Connie Aldao’s cooking is celebrated for its charcoal grill mastery and global flavours.
